Dear Learner,

If you have already successfully completed or will shortly complete the SNOMED CT Foundation course you may be interested to learn about opportunities to join the following more advanced courses.  If you have already applied or are taking one of the courses please ignore this email.

SNOMED CT Content Development Theory course: 

Applications remain open but new applications received will only be reviewed according to the following schedule: 

Received by	Decision by	Earliest entry
15 March	8 April	May or September intake
15 July	8 August	September or January intake
15 November	8 December	January or May intake

NOTE: Your application will only be accepted if you have successfully completed the SNOMED CT Foundation Course

Details of the course and the online application form are available when you login to the E-Learning Server and follow the link to Apply (E-Learning Course Applications). The duration of the Content Development Theory course is expected to be three months.

If you would like to apply for this course be sure to complete the online application form before the 15th March deadline. Applicants will be informed if they have been offered a place after the 8th April. If the number of applicants is greater than the available places some applications will be placed on a waiting list. Note that applications received on or after 15th March will be considered in the next review cycle (mid July 2016).

Applications remain open but new applications received will only be reviewed according to the following schedule:

NOTE: Your application will only be accepted if you have successfully completed the SNOMED CT Foundation Course

If you would like your application considered in the current review, be sure to complete the online application form before the March 15th deadline. Applicants who apply before that deadline will be informed about offered places on the course by after the 8th April. Note that applications received on or after 15th March will be considered in the next review cycle (mid July 2016). 

Important notes

1. Applications for these courses are open only to those who have successfully completed the Foundation course at the time of applying.
2. Applicants interested in both courses should note that we do not allow people to be on both courses at the same time. There are two reasons for this:

• Firstly we would like to share out the available E-Learning resource as fairly as possible.
• Secondly the courses are demanding and taking two courses at once increases the risk of slipping behind the course schedules.
