Professor, Columbia University School of Nursing

Nursing Informatics pioneer and recipient of the 2019 IMIA François Grémy Award of Excellence, Prof Suzanne Bakken, has conducted federally funded clinical informatics research for more than 25 years. She is also Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association and was awarded the IMIA François Grémy Award of Excellence in 2019 for her outstanding lifetime personal commitment and dedication to the field.

Prof Dawn Dowding (UK)
Professor in Clinical Decision Making, The University of Manchester

Prof Dawn Dowding is an author, nurse, psychologist and a researcher who talks to nurses in their own language. Co-author of Essential Decision Making and Clinical Judgement for Nurses and also known as Decision Dawn, she specialises in Nursing Informatics and decision-making research and is passionate about the development and evaluation of tools to assist clinicians with practical decision making.
